Mr. Rizzo received his Bachelor of Arts
degree from Fordham University in 1984
and his Juris Doctorate from Fordham
University School of Law in 1987.
He is a Member of the New York State Bar
Association, the American Trial Lawyers
Association, and the New York City Bar
Association, where he has lectured for, and
served on, the Lawyers in Transition Committee.
He is also a qualified member of the New York
City Bar Association’s Legal Referral Business
and Corporations Panel, the Employment and Labor
Panel and the Real Estate Panel. Recently, he
was appointed as a member of the Alternative
Dispute Resolution Committee of the New York
City Bar Association. Mr. Rizzo has also been a
featured columnist of the Outside Counsel column
of the New York Law Journal and has appeared on
television discussing
issues
of sexual harassment in the workplace.
Mr.
Rizzo is highly respected by his clients
and his peers. He has over 20 years of
experience litigating commercial
business disputes, employment
discrimination cases, sexual harassment
claims, real estate and title disputes,
fraud claims, corporate and partnership
dissolutions, and disputes involving
cooperative and condominium associations
and their shareholders and unit owners.
His successes as a litigator, negotiator
and
mediator
in
these areas are numerous.
His
practice also extends to counseling and
representing clients in issues involving
employment law, residential and
commercial real estate transactions,
general business and corporate law, and
Italian
law.
Prior to establishing his own law
practice, Mr. Rizzo was an attorney at a
Wall Street firm where he gained
extensive training and experience in the
areas of corporate and securities
transactions and commercial litigation.
His experience enabled him to develop
the skills necessary to represent a
diverse clientele accustomed to a
sophisticated legal practice and the
Wall Street tradition of quality legal
representation.

Rizzo is admitted to practice before the
Supreme Court of the United States, the
Federal courts of the Southern District
of New York, Eastern District of New
York, Northern District of New York, and
the District of New Jersey, as well as
